I was given a project to redesign Chip Kidd's books; The Cheese Monkeys & The Learners. The concept of each highlights the core of each books story.
As The Cheese Monkeys revolves around Chip Kidd as a developing designer, the story of his evolution unfolds from man to monkey.
The Learners, the secondary book that follows The Cheese Monkeys is much darker and serious. This book revolved around psychology and how the brain worked and could memorize. Therefore to experience to try to get to the brain was conceptually driven with a vellum sleeve, revealing the brain.
