Car Selling App UX Analytics and Mockup for T-Mobile

Challenge
The application is used for configuration of cars, offer and order management as well as handling of all lead related information of clients and tasks of the sales man working in the car dealer ship.

My Role
The client asked for consultation, identification of usability issues and wanted to be advised for redesign. Also, it was necessary to show behaviour in different viewports and scrolling.

Expert Quick Check
- Overall the interface of application now is very complicated. There is no chance that new user will get where he wants without been confused
- You can’t understand where you should start or what you must do today, lots of colour squares and small icons looks quite messy
- There is no connection between application blocks. It will be difficult to re-organise whole structure according mobile first approach
- It’s difficult to find where to click for certain operation and to predict what will happen if you click somewhere.
- Low affordance of the majority of UI elements
- Problems with color and terms meanings
Solution
After analising current app, taken some surveys and interviews I have found some problem places. It was impossible to start metric analysis because of an application status (quite confidential), so I had to determine personas by myself. After that I ran through simillar CRM systems and decided what will be good and what will be bad in my case. After that I already had an affinity diagram to start working with paper mockups.
Wireframes
As a client wanted to have also a mobile and a tablet version of an app, I have decided to work with three main screen sizes. Here comes some pictures from my presentation.
