CONCEPT:
Creating a product inspired by the Moroccan Islamic culture, art, and architecture.
Dream catchers tend to catch your bad dreams, being inspired from that I combined the idea of a dream catcher along with Moroccan Islamic inspirations to create an Envy Repeller (Hassad Repeller).
Moroccans are strong believers of envy that can cast bad luck in your life from people's envious eyes. As you roam around the cities a dynamic use of symbols are placed as a strong belief that they will repel those envious eyes. Some elements used: Qura'n verses, horse shoe, cowrie shells, bullets, rosary, calligraphy, the hand of Fatima (Al-Khumaiseh).
