Why Manchester?
Manchester is a popular UK city which is often referred to as the capital of the north, the worker bee has been Manchester’s symbol since the 1800s and it signifies how the community of Manchester worked together to make Manchester a better place.
However, in recent years there has been increasing poverty statistics within the city centre, with Manchester now having more rough sleepers than anywhere else in the uk other than London.
This is where hive comes in, by providing a space in which the community of Manchester can build a strong framework of support, whilst actively helping those in need.
