Cirqa is a traffic engineering consulting business from Adelaida, Australia, specialized in the planning and design of streets and road networks. The company focuses on designing people-oriented streets within cities and not just for vehicles but also pedestrians and cyclists.
The goal was to design a people-oriented brand that pushes CIRQA out from the traditional engineering concept, making it as unique as it's brand value and displaying it as playful and friendly as possible.
Having this concepts as a starting point, we developed a very strong icon divided in two instances, the left side represent the sidewalks, the rigth side represents the streets, we merged both parts in one heart shaped piece to simbolize the harmony that the streets and road networks should (and will) have.
We used ambiental colors for the corporate chromatics (Blue, Cyan and yellow), gray and oranges as complementary to represent the asphalt and the road.
