Imbue

Industrial Design
Imbue is a loose leaf tea vessel created by a small team of design students at Western Washington University.
Brewing time can be controlled by flipping the vessel upside down.
3 hidden earth magnets hold the strainer securely to the lid.
The original working prototype was developed in-house at WWU before the project raised over $360,000 on Kickstarter. Every part was then redesigned and custom manufactured for the best possible experience.
Component dimensions were refined and production was completely outsourced.
