The house is located in county Wicklow with great views on the Little Sugar Loaf and Sugar Loaf mountains. The idea was to use the natural bank running across the sloped site to locate the house on split levels creating an open courtyard with formal entrance from the top level. There are high level glazing and a big rooflight over the entrance area to compromise the location of the house with great views to the east and natural light filtrating from the south-west side in the afternoon .
