I’m a barber. This can happen to anyone. I, however, insist: I’m a good barber. Each one has his own oddities. What bothers me are pimples.
I will tell you how things happened. I started to give him a nice shave : I worked up a lather on his face, I honed my razor and I softened it in the palm of my hand. I am a good barber! I have never cut anyone, and the guy didn’t have a thick beard. He had, however, pimples. And even if, I admit, these pimples did not have anything in particular, they really got on my nerves, they made me sick. I didn’t pay too much attention at the first one, but the second one began bleeding. Then, I do not know what hit me, I think it happened naturally…. I cut the wound wide open and then, unable to stop the bleeding, I cut his throat.
We set out to go after widgeons. I hid in foliages. And there was the fat man with his ridiculous winged Tirol hat. I do not know what I was thinking but I aimed at him…
He picked me up to dance seven times on and on.
I couldn’t avoid that: my parents wouldn’t stop staring at me. This idiot, however, didn’t have any idea about rhythm. His hands were also sweating … And I had such a big pin in my hair …
