We re-refreshed the marketing communication concept for Volvo Cars Finland's personal service technicians. The idea was to communicate to the audience that the technician knows the customer's car better than anyone else (the headline: "I know your car better than anyone else"). Volvo has a high quality teaching program for the technicians, and the message was making clear that the competitors low price service providers can't match the knowledge that the Volvo personnel has. Volvo had already created a service concept which was more personal to the customers, as they would communicate straight with their personal technician rather than a service desk manager. We were making the earlier communication messages simpler and more appealing to the customers.
 
The Volvo Personal technician was also a way to communicate about the Volvo Service 2.0 concept, which offers a variety of services and offers to a Volvo customer.
 
The campaign consisted of print advertising (a Volvo campaign witch all dealers took part in), POS material (also signs, maps, a business card template for the technicians), updated content for the volvocars.fi website, online advertising (banner ads), a brochure update etc.
 
The campaign received a good response from the Volvo dealers, media reprasentatives and from the customers, as the visual appearance and the simple copy in the headline were simple and appealing and differed from the "normal" car and service marketing.
