This project is an awareness campaign based on Sudden Cardiac Death. This message doesn’t have a strong voice in society but is important. Cardiac Risk in the Youth (CRY) is to raise awareness on Sudden Cardiac Death to inform students on the value of getting checked.
Type, colour, illustration and layout are used for this awareness campaign. The typefaces used ‘Scala Sans’ and ‘Triplex’ reference the key values ‘structure’ and ‘rhythm’ of the heart linking the relationship for this visual campaign identity. Both typefaces were picked for their friendly look and distinctive structure. As part of this campaign students would be able to record their ECG using a state of the art watch and have them printed out.
