The Foundation is a project to propose a temporary art installation to commemorate previously demolished historical buildings and to save historical buildings in Kuala Lumpur.
The project aims to communicate a message that promotes heritage preservation among the public especially the younger generation about the importance of preserving historical buildings.
A preliminary research was carried out to study the issues and challenges faced in heritage preservation in the context of Kuala Lumpur as well as the effectiveness of public art as a medium to communicate and educate the public about the importance of heritage preservation.
Finally, a public art proposal and a 3D model was executed to provide an overview of the art installation.
