We adopt the idea from last generation or life experience that all the objects serve us and we own them. We produce more and more new objects to provide convenience to our life. But we seldom pay much attention to and question them. We gradually ignore the constraint from daily objects. So I created another situation which all the constraint from them are amplified but still seems reasonable and comfortable in some way.

The room has 5 pieces of furniture, some attachment and two channels of videos. All pieces of furniture look wired, unstable and fragile, but each of them has certain function and reason to exist in this situation, and pretty steady. There are 3-leg chair with round circles, table that connected by balloons, table holder, balloon shelf and 3-leg TV box. The two monitors on the corner of wall show a synchronized video, performed by myself, playing how I live in this context with the furniture and how we take care of each other. I got new furniture from top either on my demand or not, and they can make my life easier and more comfortable, though they still look absurd from the real world - the world we live in for now. In the video, I compromise to the constraint from furniture step by step and seem happy with this lifestyle. Through this project I’m not asking the question what is real and what’s the criterion of normal, but rather open up the participants to alternative understanding of our reality.
