NOLA (Student project)

Evolution of the logo. Drew a few pages of sketches and then brought the top one into Illustrator (via scanner/image trace) and then using the smooth tool ended up with the final result.
First major branding rollout was the NOLA - Shelling out the goodness stream. Using the l in NOLA, I created a crawfish, their state shellfish.
This is the second branding stream, NOLA - Getting jazzy with it. Again, using the l in NOLA made it into a saxophone to show off their strong ties with music and being known as the birthplace of jazz.
Had to create an app for our city rebrand, and this was mine to show off some of the key sites, attractions and delicacies New Orleans has to offer. Chose to create a vector of my own phone as all the other vector mockups I could find were that of iphones.
All the vector mockups were done in Illustrator by me. I used some license free, no attribution pictures (like the trumpet) from Pixabay.com. In case you aren't sure what NOLA is, it's New Orleans, Louisiana.
