I designed and ran the website at gattosrestaurant.com from 2010 through 2014. I was given a lot of creative freedom by Chuck and Frank, and it paid off. The Google Analytics chart shows off some pretty impressive statistics (if I DO say so myself).
After photographing every item on the menu (200+), then I added every ingredient of every item as a "foodtag". By doing this, it allowed vistors to click on "tomatoes" for example, and see every item containing tomatoes. It proved very effectice, with page views per visitor at about 8.5--a ridiculously high number.
