Brief: Create something feminine, striking and representative of the theme: a critical discussion around a 2012 Atlantic Magazine article entitled, "Why Women Still Can’t Have It All."
I wanted to capture various aspect of a women's life through a representational object: coming of age, entering working world, childbearing, wellness. The spilled purse supports the author's discussion around the struggle to keep all things in balance.Since this talk kicks off our summer season, I wanted to keep the colors fresh and beachy, with hard shadows as if from the sun.
