The Challenge:
Inform existing Nationwide customers and those new to Nationwide about their Recommend-A-Friend offer, which allows both the referring member and the person switching their account to receive £100, and give them a way to spread the word as well.
The Approach:
We created series of videos that communicated to members and non-members the benefits of switching to Nationwide. For members, we created sharable videos tarageted to different lifestages when people might consider switching. We also created a longer film explaining a key Nationwide difference (that they're a building society, and what this means), which is nestled near a series of pre-populated tweets non-members can send out to find a referer.
The campaign went live on 10th June, so we are awaiting results!
