Photographer / model Kristen Hatakeda collaborated with digital artist G C Kush to create a series of visual and literary art dedicated to the memory of Joy Negash - Kristen's friend who passed away while serving together with a team at a children's home in Northern India.
This is the second installment of photography to follow Kristen's original series of the same name. Photographs were taken at the Adobe San Francisco studio with some projections of Kristen's first series as the key light. Multiple exposures were combined in Photoshop to create the final composites with the text hand written by Kristen.
Kush and Kristen first met at a homeless shelter while they were both volunteering at the kitchen there as part of an Adobe group volunteering project. A random conversation lead to more lunch meetings at work which ultimately resulted in this exploratory art project.
