The City of Barcelona and the Barcelona Design Week participate at NYCxDesign 2016, with presence at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
 

The commission is to create an identity and a booth design to present Barcelona as a creative city in NY. Barcelona Design Center selected twelve industrial designers from Barcelona to be present in the booth at the fair.
 

Basic shapes with pictures of the city are used to create the modular identity. The design of the booth is using basic and high end materials. Economic materials as fiberboard wood, chosen by his temporality and random texture, mixed with plexiglass, high end material, chosen to generate contrast between something ephemeral but also well presented. The main objective is to enhance the presence of the present objects and present them to the audience in a creative environment.
