Approaching Factor's Walk:

With the help of his studio partner, Kyle Stavella, Larson attempts to capture beautiful, fleeting moments in time as the journeyman approaches the abandoned industrial warehouses and power lines in the distance. As each moment passes, the sepia-toned background grows darker, and the under painting and brush strokes become more apparent. In the last panel the streetlights begin to flicker, capturing those few moments in the day when it is neither day nor night, but somewhere in between.

Each piece in Factor’s Walk, viewed on its own, can be considered a work of traditional visual art, using the philosophy of the29Impressionist style. But the spatial relation to each painting in the triptych invites the viewer to develop a narrative and unified meaning by grouping the pieces into a solidified whole.
