What has automotive paint to do with windows? And why was this exclusive automobile- silhouette present at the Schüco booth at the german trade fair frontale 2012? The provider of modern window- and facade-technology in Germany has created an innovative colouring method for plastic profiles: the Schüco Automotive Finish. This new surface technology makes it possible to dye these plastic surfaces with metallic colours. To stage this novelty on the market, Schüco commissioned D’art Design for the central presentation of the topic “Schüco Automotive Finish” at the booth at the frontale 2012 in Nuremberg.

Streamlined aluminium stripes in the colours of the product line formed a silhouette of a sporty automobile. This form of presentation showed the surface quality of the market innovation and reflected the roots of the Schüco Automotive Finish at the same time: All aluminium stripes resulted in a wall on which indicated window frames, material patterns as well as text and pictures explained the benefits of the market novelty.
