Friendly Organs
Hello! My name is Ohda and I am a self-taught graphic designer living in seoul.
'Friendly Organs' is my personal study about branding, character design and web design.
I am a hugh fan of animations and characters (pixars, disneys, lego and so on).
so It's always been my dream to create own character one day.
When we think of our organs, most of the time we take them for granted.
and I personally didn't know much about what is going on inside my body.
The important goal of 'Friendly Organs' was to make a friendly character out of something opposite.
I tried to give each organs unique characteristic and humorous looks to be remembered easily.
1. Basic concept and design
First I chose 6 most well known organs(heart,lung,liver,stomach,kidney,color) and gave each of them vivid color and unique shapes and looks based on their characteristics.
2. Prints
Also designed A4 sized poster for my nephews nieces. : )
Fun way to get to know our organs better!
3. Website
Finally I made a website for Friendly Organs. (using various javascript libraries.)
You can find out what each organs do and where they are located inside of our body.
and put a link at the bottom of the page so that anyone can download background images!
