PROJECT: Residence
For this synthesis our main scope was toshow respect to the Bagricultural landscape and design aresidence that would blend with it's natural environment. The views ofthe Aegean Sea were maintained unbroken creating an uninterrupted senseof living on the beach. The "natural ground" wasextended to the design; the stone used for construction was taken from the site'sexcavation. Large stonewalls created a physical cooling of all roomsand terraces and endemic tree species were planted at strategicalpositions. The surrounding landscape was successfully revitalized.
