Written by Christina Kyllonen and Peter Greer, Mommy’s Heart Went POP! is a book for families who are adopting internationally. Christina and Peter wanted the book to convey the excitement and deep love of adoptive parents and provide a resource that kids and parents would enjoy together. The illustrations and book design have a loose, bright, colorful, and optimistic quality. One of my favorite elements in the book is a hidden heart in each illustration for parents and children to find together.
