The Lost Princess

My original idea for this character came from the concept/archetype of the reluctant princess or hero. A person of assumed great power and authority chooses to throw it all away, change their name and escape to a life of adventure and intrigue.
A mask to conceal her identity quickly became more than just armor; but a visage. A disguise, to make her work easier.
Visually, I wanted to combine the aesthetics, that may indicate her royal lineage, with personal possessions and attire which suggests she has had an interesting albeit difficult journey. indeed she has been traveling for some time...
... but will her path lead her home?
