The Plone community
The International Plone Conference in Bucharest was the 13th edition. Most of the participants have been attending the event for years. With such a strong community, the Plone Conference experience came to mean so much more than we could capture in a logo.
Creative direction
A one week conference in a foreign country is an adventure. Since the community has clear expectations about the event and the people attending it, why interfere? We went with what happens outside of the conference, in your spare time.
Bucharest as the face of the brand 
We could have gone with Bucharest as Little Paris, or the capital of a country that is rich in tradition. However, none of these paint an accurate picture of present Bucharest. We decided to show the city at it's loudest, and it's brightest – Bucharest by night. The noise, dirt and commotion only add up to the Big Apple impression.
