Bimas Bake House Logo Re-Fix (Concept Breakdown)

CLIENT: Bimas Bake House

TARGET AUDIENCE
Targetaudience / market is residents of an upper class community called Runda.

OVERVIEW
Client was not looking for anything too complicated.
The logo must show class, elegance, exclusivity, and quality, without coming off as pretentious.
Here is what the previous logo looked like before.

FIRST LOT OF SAMPLES
Among the first lot of samples, client picked out this. It was however suggested that we use a different graphic beside  wheat. She also asked for a change in the font that bake house is written in.
SECOND LOT
Client found neither fruit nor cream attractive. She was hoping for a graphic of something more comical, less serious, like a cartoon of a pig that's in a food coma, or a happy fat face etc.
She asked for the Bake House font to be something more curvy.
THIRD LOT OF SAMPLES
She found some of the pigs quite amusing. However, while fishing for opinions concerning the logo, most people said the pig makes them think of ribs.
Change the Bake house to say: Real.Good in the same font.
Change the pig to either a toddler or a person.

The fat kid made her smile. So we settled on that as the subject appearing on the logo.
COLOUR...
and colour combinations. Pink and black were suggested. She would like to be able to do the logo in Black, gold, silver, neon green, orange, blue and pink.
She said she felt like there's something missing from it to make it feel complete so I tried the cream and stars but client didn't like them.

Try other colour combinations that would be great with food.

Client informed me that the logo is also going to make stickers with either a black, background (so the logo would be in metallic gold), or on a pastel background ( either baby pink or very dark brown, like dark chocolate).
Not really what client was looking for.
Suggested we extend the circle at the right end of the logo so there is less of a gap as well as doing the logo in a dark purple and black, and as a dark red and black.
Only thing client wanted to change is the colour of the "Bima's" to:
i) a deeper shade of purple,
ii) one in a bright pink,
iii) and one in Gold.

These were approved as the final logo.
