This video is a prototype for my final project of Masters which will be created further. The aim of the final project is to use video materials with the resources of musical instruments for sound art based on those inspirations related to human perception and electronic music. This is also intended to engage audiences in an experience transmitting auditory movements to sound.

 

To deliver the concept, this practical prototype as a music video has been developed by using the composition with live action videos, individually filmed as background, and 3D computer graphics of old televisions modelled and rendered by Autodesk Maya. I shot the live action videos in Westminster station in London in order to show screens on TV clearly by the dark environment like a tube station.

I intended this prototype video to explain the interaction between auditory movement and sound. Although the resources did not make the sound when they were shot, humans might perceive they are generating the sound if they have exact synchronisation in terms of length and shapes.
