This project, very interesting, involved the study of a well-defined and recognizable style illustration. Not only that, it was also necessary to choose carefully the font and their arrangement. In addition to these basic problems, they have three variables added on the names to be used. In fact, they are divided into three different types: artists geolocated, artists and celebrities and VIPs geolocated artists.
Having dealt with the placement, it was necessary to regulate and standardize illustration to cover the territory of the city of Milan. The names available were limited, roughly 250. So it was done a continuous work of study on their location and their size. This, however, keeping in mind the topography of the city, so as to be recognizable. In fact, the ring roads that characterize the town map were maintained.
Each character of each word that makes up illustration was worked individually and adapted to maintain the topographical features of the city.
The next step was to typeset the map inside the paper, format Uni, by including elements characteristic of a map, such as: wind rose, explanatory text, legal information.
Having finished product was then built the brand identity, following the illustration style, creating a logo that would represent the project. It also labels were derived to be affixed to packaging that contains the poster.
It was then designed the User Experience and User Interface of the web site as well as to promote a coordinated project, valuing the product and its features.
