Leading up to her next mixtape realease, my client Edie hired me to shoot a series of music videos for her. Each month, the celebrity blogger Perez Hilton holds a cover song competition for his readers and Edie thought that this would be an ideal way to gain exposure. We were lucky enough to win an Honorable Mention for her cover of Adele's "Someone Like You" and overnight wegained over twelve-thousand views on her YouTube account!
Since this was the first serious video shoot that we had done in over a year, we really wanted to give viewers a picture of her growth as an artist. I chose to film the video very loosely and wanted to give it the feel of a live recording session that you often see in recording studios.
