Reflections
The works done by the lasalle graduates were awesome! I was really inspired by some and i guess i know what i really want after this trip to lasalle. I was confused if i should get a degree or go out into the industy right after poly. But i came across all the fashion designers' work and was really amazed by it. The guide also explained the different segment in the course and there was one im really interested in which is fashion photography and art direction. That was what i wanted all the while and im very happy to hear lasalle having it.
Objectives:

The punk subculture is frequently seen as an adolescent culture in view of youth angst. Nevertheless, punk as a subculture goes much more than just rebellion and the fashion style as punks, for the most part, look for an option of a way of life different from the norms of society. The core value of punk inclines more towards liberty and self-expression. In this project, Visual Volume aims to celebrate punk ideology and its values in self-expression.
4. How is the project proposal interesting and feasible?
The project proposal is interesting because the work already stands out from the rest because of the punk style. And to read it further, it actually tells us more about punk. People take punk as rebellion, fashion styles but it is actually more than that. Its actually a loud way to self express and to get their message across. It is feasible because the punk style is very loud and it definitely attracts people's attention and get the message across to them. Usually people will expect the punk style to be full of vulgar, but look at the art work, it actually works with other words too. Like the "film is not dead" the message is very strong and firm with the punk style.

I think the key elements in the project development that results in the success of the project was the choice of mediums and materials to use to display the punk style. The designer used tshirts, cloths and shoes. The colours used were also the big key element to make the whole visual good.

6. Do you have problem understanding the project just by reading the project objective or synopsis? How is it effective or ineffective? Are the deliverables or intent obvious? Is it too long/too short?
It was pretty clear and easy to understand. I get the message quite fast. The project is very straightforward and effective too.

It is an astounding change in how we do things, whether it is simple to make things more convenient, or maybe to make them just a bit more personal. We always use slang to make our lives easier, to make them better, to make them more interesting.

The younger generation have a new slanguage in their conversation leaving older generation lost for words.

The project is interesting and feasible because it is very relatable to both youngsters and older generation. Because we are the one using the language and the older generation can understand what we are talking about after reading this book. Also, the colours and pictures are pretty ineresting and it attracts my attention. It has a very fun and cheerful tone in it.

I think the key elements to the success of this project the how the colours and the graphic blends together. It gives a fun and humorous feel to it and the whole thing feels very young. The idea is also very simple yet bring out the flavour of our generation.

Nope, i do not have problem understanding it instead, it is actually very simple. It is a project thats suppose to explain the short forms so that other generation will get it. It is very effective as it captures people attention yet it simple to understand. People will get it with one read.

Insight 1
Namecard is very important. As i was viewing the works, i realise usually my friends and i tend to look at the namecard first and it give us an impression of how's the designer of the work is. We tend to also keep nicer namecards so i think that namecards are very important because it serves as a first impression. The more people that takes your namecard, the higher chance you get discovered or employed.

Insight 2
Colours and visuals are very important. Getting the attention of the viewers is very important. For me, bright coolours or 3D works tend to get my attention first and then i will proceed to reading them. I think that some works are good but if it doesnt attract people's attention, people wont read it.

Title is very important. The title of the work is very important because if your work is very good but the title is not inmpactful enough, it doesnt leave a good impression. People will go from "wow" to "meh" in a while.
