Magazine writing final story for Wired magazine
This is my final article for my magazine writing class about visual storytelling. Our assignment was to write a 2000-word feature for a specific magazine of our choosing, accompanied by a sidebar. I wrote about the power of visual storytelling in our modern world, exploring how our digital and visual culture makes visuals and design all the more important to information processing and how our brains interpret information we see every day. The sidebar is the most scientific story of about the processes our brain goes through when we see visuals and make sense of visual information. I chose magazine because it's one of my favorites, and I think the Wired reader would be interested in how technology, design, and data affects our brains and our culture of literacy.
