GCSE Collage and Identity.
As part of the GCSE course students study the theme of collage and Identity. In order to create a series of collages. They make reference to the work of Schwitters and choose contempary artists from the blog site notpaper.net to generate ideas. Collages are often developed into drawings, paintings and manipulated with Photoshop to further develop work and create final pieces. Some students have studied the work of Surrealist Hannah Hoch to create more figurative pieces.
