Kite Festival Singapore – An Advertising Campaign
NTUC INCOME KITE FESTIVAL SINGAPORE;
An Advertising Campaign

Description:
For one of the major projects in school, I worked on a campaign
to promote the ‘NTUC Income Kite Festival Singapore’, an annual
event that showcases all sorts of kites and kite culture. The
requirements for the brief included four deliverables, of which
I had chosen to create posters, brochures, and a website, along
with a video showreel.

Concept:
The concept for this campaign is a  'Light Carnival Theme’, with
a day and night segment featuring L.E.D remote control kites.
Because the event has been trying to and has not been very successful
in reaching out to the youths, my campaign’s main aim would be to
attract the youths while still keeping it family oriented and
‘child friendly’ (like how they had previously portrayed themself).

A colourful illustrative style was adapted as it’s trendy among
the youths while still being able to catch the eyes of children.
Above are the day and night versions of the posters.
