Jewel-box is an exquisite interior accessory that can fit nicely in any room type. Almost everyone has some jewel items or just the precious little things that can be stored in a pretty jewel-box in such a handy way. A charming casket plays not only a practical role, but also serves as a harmonious complement to the interior composition.
The decorative hand-made mosaic technique can be used by anyone. Moreover, this process is very exciting, and allows to reproduce any creative ideas, compositions and patterns.
Here I present a university project of a jewel-box decoration.
Firstly I drew a sketch of a parrot (a future image for a mosaic pattern), then I transmitted a sketch into a flat scheme of the box and after that started the realisation of mosaic surface.
