Bernhöftstorfa is a little square in the center of Reykjavík. The aim of the installation is to increase the flow of people through and around the square. A pattern was created from the giant chess located in the middle of the square. The chess-like pattern spreads out of and around the square in the purpose of attracting people walking by. 
Pedestals rise up from the pattern to create multifunctional sitting arrangements: a bench, table or objects for play, with board games painted on a few of them
