The client already had a concept in mind, he wanted an old and a young man walking on a road, but he also wanted an effect on it to look like a drawing transforming into a picture.
Above is the first presented concept, very rough stage of a photomanipulation with the desired effect applied.
Some modifications like earth road, addition of some grass and clean up
Addition of shadows and detailement of characters.
Some color corrections.
Almost there, some work on title and author name
