The project was designed in Illustrator with heavy usage of the mesh and pen tools to render the details and color blends on the plane itself. The Tomcat was selected for the main focus of this piece due partly to its popularity and also because it's a personal favorite. The USAF logo was added making it a potential promotional piece. The artwork itself could be used in various different applications such as a promotional poster, a flyer or even a new US postage stamp. The stripes were also added to give the piece an overall patriotic feel.

When staging the piece I decided to turn it into a "First Day of Issue" US postage stamp. The format and layout shows that this particular piece can be used in various different ways and applied to multiple different applications.
