Clare Halden's profile

Advertising project

I made up a brand called Blinko and designed a range of ads for them. This one would really suit Valentine's Day.
What it would look like in situ.
In this design, I was inspired by the wavy and criss-cross patterns on the bottom of the trainer and used vivid autumnal colours.
I used the trees to illustrate the message of standing out from the crowd.
I watched a programme about pregnant women that continue drinking alcohol throughout their pregnancy. It gave me the idea for this ad and I thought the baby in the wine glass gives a powerful message. Created for my imaginary charity, Boozer.
Another don't drink during pregnancy advertisement.
This advert uses beer bottle tops to illustrate the few vague moments you remember after a heavy night out and how you feel. The message is to cut down on your drinking if it's getting out of hand.

The poster is aimed at men who go out drinking heavily in groups - hence 'going rounds' in the title relating to rounds of drinks The circular design is also reminiscent of a record deck, to represent a night out clubbing.
