Some years ago I worked for a long term project called "Original Natives of America" for elbliote.com
The project was about the creation of dozen of illustrations that where used in magazines, infographics and web platforms. I had to create a lot of different characters and backgrounds. It was a very interesting project and I really learn a lot. It was a great opportunity to use different materials and styles.
I started some of the illustration using pencils.
After the pencils I usually made digital painting to give colours to the characters. Because it was a project that lasted for some years I was always asked to trying different styles.
Some of the characters were created in an isolated mode but others need a background. Those were the most complicated to do. Again I have to always try different styles wich was a great way to experiment with new techniques.
The most difficult ones were the ones that include lot of characters and also a detailed background. They were used as background for infographics. It was a great challengue for me.
