Money talks...
Well, in the end everything comes to money. Yes! But in this case it’sabout an old dream that i have of one day designing some papercurrency. It’s not for the money (G-d forbid!). It’s that i really lovethe intricate details of paper currency and the coulours. Take forexample the former dutch currency, the ‘Gulden’, the slovenijancurrency, the Finnish and….you name it. They are so beautiful. Itreally takes some hard work, a good knowledge of what can be achieved.I do agree with the Dutch monetary institution when they wrote a wholeprocedure on how the currency should look like and what it should betreated like and here i quote: "A banknote is a product for daily life. It changes hands many timesa day, and is carried close to or even on bodies! Therefore, a noteshould first of all have an easily recognisable denomination and anattractive, contemporary look. In short, it should be designed for thepublic to like it."

My version of a digital "intaglio". I think it emulates well the currency intaglio technique. I've done this out of my ima's (mom's) pciture.
