A series of posters for the public space as the outcome of a workshop in a museum in Imola, a provincial town in northern Italy.
Graphic designer and visual artist Marco Ugolini was invited for an artist in residency programme in a museum in Imola. In the attempt of utilising the city public space, rather than just the museum walls, as an exhibition space, Ugolini invited a group of design students from the University of Ferrara to participate in a one-day-workshop with the goal of designing a series of posters. After a guided tour of the museum, the students were asked to chose an item of the collection as a starting point for their design. The posters were exhibited at the musem during the exhibition Residenzamuseo / 01 and around town.
