Having been set the brief to create branding and promotional material for a new Topman Concept Store opening in Berlin, I came up with the idea of Musikautomat. Having researched greatly around the existing and very popular Photoautomat, I decided to give it a new twist to incorpourate music for Topman's launch.

 

Each booth is placed in a different location around the central districts of Berlin. On entering the booth you shall hear a sample of a track produced by a local music artist. If you like what you hear, you can collect a token which will have to be taken in-store. In-store, this token is exchanged for a free Tote bag relating to which booth you visited and you will also recieve the download code, allowing you a free download of the track.

 

The concept behing the design of the booths is individuality. Ordinary Topman imagery has been taken however on each booth it has been interpreted in a different way, using either line drawings, collage or wire. The idea is that this shows how Topman clothing can be interpreted and styled in many different ways, encouraging you to wear it however you wish.
