Two illustrations I made for Măscărici, a card game consisting of illustrations of couples from different countries, made by 26 Romanian illustrators.
Mine is inspired by the costumes worn during a traditional Indian dance-drama, called Kathakali, which usually takes place over a whole night, has religious and mythological subjects from Mahabharata, Ramayana, and the Puranas, and it consists of elaborate costumes and complicated gestures and dance moves.
