The King of Currumpaw

The King of Currumpaw
Lobo The Great
A personal project in which I was inspired by the true story of a wolf hunt in the Wild West. I wrote a poem and illustrated it in a book format. Below is an extract from the poem and some spreads from the final book:

In a place that they called 'The Old Wild West'.

Currumpaw Valley was yet to be tamed,
At a time when wolves still ran the plains.
And the King of the Valley was 'Lobo the Great',
The legend that met such a terrible fate.

It all began with a terrible drought,
When the cowboys moved in;
and the buffalo moved out...'
