Subversive is a photographic series that shows all those situations, behaviors and subversive acts that envelop the author as she sees them.
A different look of what surrounds us, that which is not usually photographed, but that when photographing it surpasses in beauty and harmony to the established.
Subversive plays with chance. In capturing that moment in a natural way, a reality that exists.
We live in a society in constant movement, where the immediate has become necessary, where technologies reign over us. But what has become of the only thing? Of that object of desire, that unique object, that object that has a time of creation, that object made by us and for us.
That "single object" is Subversive.
Subversive wants to remind us of that time where each photograph was unique. When the picture was taken, immediacy was not one of its aspects. You could only see how it was once it was over and revealed the reel. All this entailed a cost, both temporary and economic and that we did not care and that today we are back, because of the need for the immediate.
