Mad Mad Mad World
Mad Mad Mad World is a part of my one- year project ‘ Eating Dogs in China’. It is a series of illustrations depicting a fancy world being filled with a kind of strange creatures. Actually, the creature represents the dog eater with a stomach head and human body.
Mad Mad Mad World has twelve pictures. All the pictures constitute a graphic map, which shows the home and living condition of the ugly creature, how these creatures treat dog killing activities as a sort of entertainment and how they cook dog meat. All content displayed by the illustration comes from the research, which was conducted during the first semester. Each illustration relates to the one horizontally and vertically. Because of this, it seems that the illustrations are telling the story to the audience. However, the project is not to design a book or aims to narrates a story. The most important role of the project is to delivery more information and uses funny and ironic expression technique to satire dog eaters.
