Scenes from The Market

K.R. Market, also known as City Market, is the largest wholesale market dealing with commodities in Bangalore, India. I visited one Saturday evening just to get a feel of the market. These photographs depict the typical market scenes in any part of India! It's so ironic, but there's so much hidden order, structure and organization behind all the visible chaos and confusion.
“Your face is marked with lines of life, put there by love and laughter, suffering and tears. It's beautiful.”
― Lynsay Sands
Ladies and gentlemen, the girl with the most genuine smile in all of Bangalore!
"Acche photo layke newspaper mein chipkana"

Translation: "You better take a good picture and publish it in the newspaper"

“It was the sibling thing, I suppose. I was fascinated by the intricate tangle of love and duty and resentment that tied them together. The glances they exchanged; the complicated balance of power established over decades; the games I would never play with rules I would never fully understand. And perhaps that was key: they were such a natural group that they made me feel remarkably singular by comparison. To watch them together was to know strongly, painfully, all that I'd been missing.”

― Kate Morton, The Distant Hours
This lady not only insisted on us taking a picture with her daughter, but also on getting a picture taken with us after that!

No kidding, the dad (I presume) actually said this:
"Isko nanga banake WhatsApp mein bejh do"
Translation: "Make him naked in the picture and send it to me in WhatsApp"
