Developing New Service within existing platform.
I worked on developing service for existing platform specialized in vehicle registration. 
 
My Plan:
1. Learn about the service
2. Conduct personal interviews 
3. Observe work environment. 
 
After excessive reading of documents, regulations and policies,  I had opportunity to speak to our clients who stated their needs and expressed their worries. The service depends on government collaboration agencies plus other financial services. 
1. Get the big picture. I begun to work on the general flow doing the following: 
   1. Identifying touchpoint of the service
   2. Identified behavior patterns
   3. Prototyping with pen and paper
   4. Consulting with experts
   5. Making general flow chats (enormous) and less detail one

2. Narrow it down each party and define their interaction with the platform, their actions as well as their limitations
 1. Formulated scenarios based on different roles in each department
      a. Identify behavior patterns
      b. Prototyping with pen and paper
      c. Consulting with experts
      d. Making general flow chats for each department
 2. Getting into the touchstone itself:  
      a. Working on a lifecycle of “Salvage Solution”
      b. Creating different scenarios in which "Salvage Solution" goes through transitions
 3. Make detail cases based on current rules and regulations of the state
 4. Form prototypes for each possible “Salvage Solution” transaction and status transition

3. Work scenarios when "Salvage Solution” needs editing, inform validations, based on state rules and regulations.
Create cases and scenarios in which “Salvage Solution” 
   1. needs editing
   2. needs to be eliminated from the system
   3. needs extra attention from several parties and lifecycle of “Salvage Solution is placed on hold
4. How "Salvage Solution” is displayed, tracked by the users and identified in existing platform
   1. Crete logbook wireframes in accord with existing platform
   2. Create status transition diagrams of “Salvage Solution” (see pic below)

5. Once I thought I was done,
I went back and did reviews with benefit of the doubt glasses. 
6. Continue to improve
7. A/B testing on clients
8. Improve a little more
9. Use google doc to exchange data with development team plus wireframes for the visual representation of each page displayed, log book, additional individual and mass actions applicable and tailored for this service. 
Result
The “Salvage Solution” is almost done and soon will be making lives of many people easier
