Each year, faculty and staff at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) are invited to nominate students who have shown exceptional leadership and a sustained commitment to improving the SAIC community for the distinguished honor of the Student Leadership Award. The dinner is hosted by the Campus Life department, and given towards the end of April. For this year's Student Leadership Dinner, we decided to update last year's look and give it a fresh face. In order to accomplish this, I went back to the customized typeface created for last year's program, and made some slight alterations to the serifs, ligatures, ascenders and decenders to make it more legible overall. We also preordered the paper and red wire for the saddle stitch to make sure everything was all set to go. Overall, the updated design, while feeling similar to last year's look, has a completely new tone and vibe. Read Less
