Series of letters created by papercut, handmade, for the 3rd edition of #36daysoftype.
36 Days of Type is a project that invites Designers, Illustrators and Graphic Artists to express their particular view on letters of our alphabet. The mission is to upload one letter every day, according to the calendar of @36daysoftype.
For this edition of #36daysoftype I wanted to do a series of letters that would follow the same line.
So I chose a concept, a food and typography that they start with the initial letter that had to upload to instagram that day.
After collecting ideas on how to run what I had in my head, I decided that what could be more fun to create everything by hand, and then photograph it.
To make the project I use white 250gr paper for drawing, a reflex camera Canon500D, photoshop CS6 and food, lots of food.
—Every day I bought a type food, I cut out the letter on the cardboard,
I assembled it and then I photographed it. I photographed each piece with natural light, so each letter has its own tone of light.
